When we travel, we typically travel on a budget. So campsites and cheap motels are usually part of our travel itinerary. However I love LOVE the idea of boutique hotels. Antique furniture, perfect decor, great vibes…. count me in please! So of course I jumped on the opportunity to stay at SunMountain when they approached me last spring. I would be an idiot if I didn’t.
Our stay at SunMountain made me realize that boutique hotels CAN be affordable, and staying in a gorgeous place can be just as memorable as the place itself. Whenever I think of Manitou Springs now, I think of SunMountain. The boujee part of myself indulged in every pretty detail of this place. I felt like a true blogger! Whatever the hell that means.
We ate an organic breakfast, pet all of SunMountain’s resident goals, ate a great dinner at Swirl, drank all the beer at Manitou Brewing Co., and soaked in the tubs at SunMountain’s sister business SunWater. I was spoiled for sure. Just call me Queen Madi for now on.
