Happy Friday Everyone!!
Last weekend I went to Houston to celebrate Mother’s Day with my lovely momsie! Houston, Texas is definitely heating up and life feels like summer there. Since I couldn’t get a flight out to Houston, I drove back to Austin, Texas with my sister. Houston and Austin in one weekend, whew!
This weekend I was suppose to be in Virginia for an Appalachian Trail hiker festival called Trail Days. Sadly, I could not get a flight out and am trying not to be super bummed about this. I miss my hiker family every day and was really looking forward to see some amazing familiar faces. However, this is my first weekend in THREE WEEKS in which I am staying home in Colorado! It does feel nice not going to the airport every week. The TSA agent this past week even mentioned, “you come through here alot.” Embarrassing. But, I’m off to New Orleans next weekend. I can’t wait for the wonderful pictures that that will ensue.
Most of the pictures this week are from Austin. I ran into a lot of cool wall murals, graffiti, art (duh, I’m in Austin!).
